MISSION OF THE
 AMERICAN RED CROSS

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

Morrow County Chapter of the American Red Cross is partners with Morrow County United Way.

 will be held June 19 to 23, 2012
at Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio.

Visit  the web site www.oti-redcross.org to review the training program.  The State Disaster meeting will be Thursday June 2012  9 AM to 5 PM.  If you interested in attending any training, contact the Chapter Office for details.

Disaster Service Training

The Disaster Services an Overview training will be held on Saturday May 14, 2012. The training will be hosted by the Marengo United Methodist Church, Main St Marengo, Ohio.   For details call the Chapter Office 419 946 2811.  Class will start at 1 PM will end 430 PM.

Be Red Cross Ready provides an opportunity to package together a wide array of actions to better assist the public with preparing for emergencies and disasters. The American Red Cross is working with the Department of Homeland Security to offer a single, consistent, primary message for use by all emergency responding agencies.
