Learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies that can lead to heart
attack in adults and how to respond.

Identifying and caring for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and
children.

Learn how to recognize life-threatening emergencies, administer first aid for
choking, and respond to respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in infants,
children and adults.

Infant and Child CPR with First Aid

Trains parents and care givers of newborns and small children in accident and
injury prevention and what to do in the event of a life-threatening emergency.

9 hour course
Learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid skills for infants,
children and adults. Special emphasis is placed on emergencies involving
children and the elderly.

Emergency Response
53 hour course
For individual "first responders" with a job-related duty to act in
an emergency. Consistent with US Dept. Of Transportation first responder
curriculum. Includes recognizing and caring for breathing and cardiac
emergencies, injuries and sudden illness; preventing disease transmission; and
automated external defibrillation (AED).

Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
3 hour course
For individuals trained in CPR where AEDs are required to defibrillate victims
of cardiac arrest. Oxygen
Administration
2 hour course
Trains individuals in the administration of oxygen and in the use of
resuscitation masks.
Protect Your Back
4 hour course
Learn how to reduce the risk of developing back injury through the use of
proper lifting and carrying techniques.
Preventing Disease Transmission
2 hour course
For individuals whose jobs involve "reasonable anticipation" of
exposure to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. Explains
OSHA standards, what to do if an exposure occurs, the employer's exposure
control plan, and emergency and follow-up procedures.
Health Hours
1-2 hour courses
Wellness topics that increase awareness of good health and safety including but
not limited to Injury Prevention, First Aid, Better Eating for Better Health,
Stress Management, Back Care, Coronary Risk Reduction, Losing Weight Sensibly,
and Healthy Food and Vitamins.
HIV/AIDS Education
30 minutes-3 hour course
Addresses HIV-related issues for employers and employees. Interactive
presentations are tailored to your specific worksite.
Health Screenings
3 hour minimum
Blood pressure, vision, hearing, and diabetes screenings to help increase
employee awareness of wellness habits by detection of potential health risks
and problems.
Authorized Provider
16-24 hour instructor training course
Under a signed agreement, one or more of your representatives can become
authorized Red Cross health and safety instructors for your organization.
