Identification is required to donate blood.
Why are we doing this?
To ensure that our donors are properly identified in Red Cross records, are not
currently disqualified from donating, and can be reached for follow up if needed.
What is acceptable identification?
The preferred identifier is a government-issued photo ID
such as a driver's license or a Red Cross blood donor card.
For the safety of your children and the blood supply,
children may not accompany parents in the collection areas. Also, young children may not be
left unattended in the waiting area. We will be happy to re-schedule your appointment.

San Jose driving instructions:
From 101 North or South (East San Jose, Sunnyvale):
Exit Montague
Expressway East. Turn right onto North First Street. Turn right on Plumeria
and left into Center driveway.
From 880/17 North or South (Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, Milpitas):
Exit Montague
Expressway West. Turn left on Plumeria (third light, Byrne's market is on
the right side). Cross North first Street and turn left into Center
driveway.
From 280 /Guadalupe (Saratoga):
Take Guadalupe
North. When it splits from 101, stay to the right toward North First
Street. Turn left on North First Street. Follow to Plumeria and turn left,
then turn left into Center driveway.
From San Jose (East Side):
Hwy 101 North to
the De La Cruz/Trimble exit. Turn left on North First Street. Turn left on
Plumeria. Center is located at the corner of North First Street and
Plumeria.
From Los Gatos/Santa Cruz (Cupertino):
Hwy 880 North to
Montague Expressway to Trimble (keep to the left). Turn right on North
First Street and left on Plumeria.
From Milpitas (Fremont):
Hwy 880 South,
exit Montague Expressway to Trimble (keep to the left). Turn right on North
First Street and left on Plumeria.
Or, Hwy 280 to Guadalupe. Turn left on North First Street. Turn left on
Plumeria. Center is located at the corner of North First Streeet and
Plumeria. (From 280, you could also take 880 or 101)
The center is walking
distance from the N. 1st St./Bonadventura light rail stop. For
