• Providing medical consultation for regional donors, patients, and physicians.
• Investigating suspected post-transfusion infectious disease cases.
• Investigating lookback cases.
• Managing serious adverse reactions by donors and recipients.
• Assessing post-donation information.
• Providing continuing medical education of physicians/ technologists/ technicians.
• Providing teaching for transfusion medicine.
