just what is Friends of the Red Cross and why should
I get involved?
'Friends'
is a dynamic group of young professionals committed to
community service, education and increase the awareness of
the American Red Cross in Central Ohio.
This
fun group helps fulfill the mission while providing its
members with a social setting to meet and network with other
young professionals.
Mission
of the American Red Cross
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by
volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the
Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross
Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and
help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to
emergencies.
