The Lifeline Account Representative will meet, or exceed marketing/promotion
goals targeted at increasing the visibility of the American
Red Cross Lifeline program within the community.
This position has
direct working relationship with the Director, Health &
Safety Services, Philips Lifeline Representative,
Administrative Assistant and our potential community partners.
The Lifeline Account Representative has revenue responsibility
that changes annually.

|
Possess
strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent presentation
skills, ability to make decisions regarding client needs, self-starter and
strong computer skills. Bachelor’s
Degree in related field or equivalent work experience in marketing and
sales.
Must maintain good driving record in order to operate American Red
Cross vehicles and complete job duties. Two years of sales experience.
Excels in dealing with the public, decision-making, and ability to
effectively complete projects. Business-to-Business sales experience
preferred.

Description
|
The Administrative Assistant reports to the
Assistant Director, Health & Safety Services. This
position is responsible for providing a wide variety of
advanced office support and customer service to internal and
external customers. This position provides direction to
volunteers, assists staff and other clients, and supports the
day-to-day operational aspects of the department.

Requirements
|
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to work
with internal and external customers and provide resolutions to issues.

Description
|
This
position is responsible for coordinating and managing the
Customer Service area. This
includes managing inventory. Has
direct responsibility for Customer Service Clerks
(approximately four employees). The Customer Service
Coordinator has revenue and expense accountability, as well
as, other fiscal and budgetary responsibilities of
approximately $200,000. Responsible for the overall management
of customer service, direct sales, and materials handling jobs
within Health and Safety. This
position is minimally supervised with access to miscellaneous
confidential information.

Description
|
This
position has lead responsibility for ensuring the American Red
Cross of Greater Columbus provides appropriate execution of
the Chapter Disaster Readiness Plan. This includes the
oversight of providing financial assistance and support to
victims of disaster; appropriate staffing in disaster
response; appropriate staff training; and oversight of the
DSHR program. This position will also provide communication,
administration, and back up support to the outsourced Service
to Military Families (SMF) program as well as manage the
International Tracing Services, all of which
are core functions of the American Red Cross mission.

Requirements
|
Ideal
candidate will regularly exhibit strong communication skills in dealing
with a variety of backgrounds, technical capabilities, and language
barriers. Excellent delegation, project management, analytical, and
customer relations skills are a must. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft
Office applications. Must be willing to accept at least two
beyond-the-chapter three week assignments each year. Bachelor’s Degree
in Business Administration, Social Work or related degree or equivalent
work experience. Minimum one year management or supervisory experience
required. All newly hired employees will be required to obtain training
and/or certification in certain courses within their first year of
employment, as determined by their supervisor. Employees may be expected
to participate in other training courses throughout their employment as

department, which includes handling phone inquiries, writing
and preparing correspondence, data entry, administrative
support for events, process mailings, and maintain paid staff,

prescreening, tracking, scheduling and coordinating interviews
with applicants, volunteers and hiring managers; checking
references and tracking fingerprint result.

This position is responsible for the data
entry associated with processing course enrollment and
recording of other pertinent data. Data entry clerk will also
be familiar with all aspects of Health & Safety Customer
Service to provide full service assistance to our customers
from registration to course certification.
Incumbent must also exhibit excellent face to face and
phone communication skills. This position is closely
supervised with access to some confidential information.
This position may have access to company funds in the
form of payments from clients.

Requirements
|
Competency in basic math, excellent
communication and writing skills are required.
Employee must exhibit ability to problem solve and demonstrate
flexibility in meeting needs of customers.
Must demonstrate accuracy in typing, with ability to type 50-60
words per minute and have working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook and
Excel programs. Previous experience using data entry programs required.
High school diploma or GED. Must have training and/or previous work
