How You Can Help

The best way to help the victims of disasters and other conflicts to which the Red Cross responds is by making a financial donation.  A donation of money has a truly "magical" character to it.   Unlike used clothes, bags of canned food or other types of tangible gifts, a donation of money can be immediately converted into much- needed items.  For example, your donation might be used to pay for a small child's new pair of eyeglasses, to replace the ones he lost in a fire.  Click here for more information.

HIV/AIDS Education from the Red CrossSpread Facts: Not Fear!

Now you can help spread the facts about HIV/AIDS by sponsoring an HIV/AIDS discussion at your church, workplace, campus or other location.  Red Cross instructors are available in English and Spanish.  For more details, please call the Northeast Georgia Chapter, Health & Safety Services, at (770) 532-8453 extension 16.  Also, visit the Red Cross HIV/AIDS information section of our web site.
