POSITION AVAILABLE

Community Disaster Education Presenter
The position is funded by Americorps. The presenter will focus on providing community disaster education to at-risk populations in the area of homeland security. They will teach, inform, and network within our 6 ½ county jurisdiction to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. They will collaborate with local organizations and develop programs for presentations at community groups. Individuals will also get an opportunity to respond to disasters locally and nationally.

Position start date is February 16, 2004 and program end date is December 16, 2004.
1700 hours and approximately 40 hours per week are required.
