Volunteering is essential to the American Red Cross. We work within the community, state, nation, and world to help prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies. We need your help to help others.

DISASTER VOLUNTEER
Red Cross volunteers provide food, clothing, shelter, counseling, and medical assistance to families in need. We train you to know what to do.

HEALTH & SAFETY INSTRUCTOR
We train you to save a life, and to teach others to save lives also. You can become certified to teach CPR, First Aid, Youth Swimming, disaster training, HIV/AIDS education, and other injury prevention skills.

BLOOD SERVICES VOLUNTEER
The Red Cross is the Nation's Premier Blood Supplier. Volunteers can assist nurses, provide office support, assist with registration, and serve refreshments. We can train you to contribute to this life saving service. Volunteers could also drive blood to surrounding areas as needed.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
You can represent the Red Cross at community and corporate health fairs. Be a speaker to promote volunteering or the American Red Cross and the services it provides.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
If you possess other skills that could be utilized at the Red Cross such as Public Relations, Fundraising, Computer and Office skills. Help Plan Special events, develop programs, or aid Red Cross Social Services.
