Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
You will learn the basics of AED, including rationale for early difibrillation and the role of CPR in cardiac arrest situations; What defibrillation is and how it works; General steps for safely using an AED; Precautions to take when using AED; What special situations can arise when using an AED; Elements which should be considered when establishing and early difibrillation program. This program requires Adult CPR Certification.
