All disaster services training is FREE (unless otherwise noted). Advance registration is required.

Introduction to Disaster Services
Open to all volunteers. Mandatory for all disaster volunteers. Overview of National and local Red Cross disaster response. One 3-hour session, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Take online at http://www2.redcross.org/flash/course01_v01

Residential Fire Workshop

Mandatory for Disaster Action Team members to respond to residential fires.
One 3-hour session from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mass Care Overview
Open to all volunteers; mandatory for DSHR state and national volunteers. Overview of feeding and sheltering function on disaster assignment. One 4 hour session from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Damage Assessment
Mandatory for all DAT & DSHR members. Overview of evaluation of damages after disaster.
One 3 hour session from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
