Creating a Safer Workplace

TOPEKA, KS - The American Red Cross Kansas Capital Area Chapter is now offering Workplace Training Programs that provide the latest in lifesaving and safety instruction for companies. The newest addition to this Health and Safety service is the Injury Prevention Modules.

The American Red Cross will be hosting an afternoon filled with four mini seminars that help to "create a safer workplace." These seminars include: Slips, Trips, and Falls, Ergonomics Module, Back Injury Prevention and Workplace Violence Awareness. Each seminar has a fee of $5 and will last approximately 60 minutes.

The seminars will be held on March 24 from 1-5 p.m. at the Chapter office, 1221 SW 17th. For more information, call 234-0568 and ask for the Health and Safety Department.
