The Red Cross is currently seeking students with motivation, enthusiasm and commitment. If this is you, then why not consider the Red Cross when planning for your internship? All intern positions are non-paying. We have a number of exciting positions available, including, but not limited to:
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Write, design, and layout the Red Cross’ quarterly newsletter, design brochures, flyers, posters, thank you notes and annual recognition pieces. A background in writing and experience in graphic design software is helpful.

YOUTH PROGRAM LEADER
Develop youth services and activity programs for the community. Involves data entry and management.

HEALTH AND SAFETY SERVICES
Market and promote Red Cross health and safety programs. Present Red Cross adult & youth programs to community organizations and assist in teaching Red Cross adult & youth –orientated classes. This position would be great for an education major.

DISASTER SERVICES
Market, promote and teach youth disaster education program, work with disaster action team members and director to work into part-time casework. All training provided. Good for social work major. This is a non-paying internship lasting for 1 semester.
All interns must have good written and oral communication skills, must be able to work independently, be comfortable with public speaking and working with all ages.
