The need for blood never goes away; just here in the Mid-Atlantic region 600-700 donations are needed each day! Unfortunately, only 5% of the eligible population does donate which means that it is a struggle to meet the needs of area hospitals.

If you are at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 lbs, and are in generally good health
