Time and Location:
All classes are held at the Chapter House at 14 West Cliff Street, Somerville. All Health & Safety courses begin at 6:30PM, unless otherwise noted.
Directions (Map)
Parking:
Parking is available on the street as well as in our parking lot at the back of the building. Our parking lot can be reached by entering the driveway of 6 West Cliff Street on the corner of North Bridge Street and going to the parking lot behind the 2nd building (Chapter House).
Instruction:
Each course fee includes an authorized instructor, book & class materials for training, and certification (upon successful completion).
Registration:
Registration is accepted by mail, in person or by phone or fax with a credit card.

Adult CPR

| The purpose of this course is to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. (Course is approximately 4 hours) |

First Aid |
The purpose of this course is to teach lay responders the knowledge and skills necessary to give care in an emergency, help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives. (Course is approximately 4 hours) |

| This course trains individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for breathing emergencies, perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) for adult victims of sudden cardiac arrest. |

Babysitter's Training |
| The purpose of this course is to provide youth (ages 11-15) who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. |
