“To the world you may be one person,
but to one person you may be the world.”

So much of what the American Red Cross accomplishes is due in part to its many dedicated volunteers. Nationally, volunteers constitute 97 percent of our total work force.

At the Red Cross, everyone has something special to offer. Our "everyday heroes" come from all walks of life and are able to contribute in a number of ways.

The Rome Area Chapter is always looking for volunteers, of any age, to assist with office-clerical work, blood drives, Disaster Services, Health & Safety, Armed Forces Emergency Services program and more.

If you think you do not have the time to volunteer, the Red Cross will work with your schedule. If you don’t think you possess any skills, the Chapter will provide training for you.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or making a contribution to the American Red Cross Rome Area Chapter, contact the Chapter office at (315) 336-0030 or email chapter@romeredcross.org.
