Lay Responder FA/CPR/AED Instructor and F.I.T.

Become a certified American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor.  Learn the skills to teach these life saving programs to the people in the community, your employees, youth groups, and civic organizations. Participants must be proficient in basic skills to enter instructor level training. 

This courses is offered at the Spartanburg location.   Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.    Please note that classes are filled on a first-come basis.  Class schedules are subject to change.  A minimum of 5 students per class is required, otherwise the class will be cancelled. Must be at least 16 years old.

How to Register:

  • Credit Card Phone Registration:  Call (864) 583-8000 weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
  • Office Registration: register in person with cash, credit card or check weekdays between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
  • Online Registration: please fill out the form below.  After pressing the SUBMIT button, you will be directed to our secure server for online payment to pay with credit/debit card.

Before registration:

  • Register early to be assured a space in your class of choice.
  • Bring a lunch or plan to purchase a meal off-site for daytime classes.

Fee:  $144.00 
Length:  16 hours

* Please note that CPR/FA training consists of strenuous activities. You will be required to perform skills on the floor.  Should you have concerns or questions, please give us a call at (864) 583-8000.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED/First Aid prior to attending the instructor class.
