September 11 Response & Recovery
Learn More About The Liberty Disaster Relief Fund

Since Clara Baron founded the American Red Cross in 1881, it has responded to thousands of fires, floods, hurricanes and earthquakes. Whether it's a home fire or a large natural disaster, the Red Cross provides a safe haven for families - a place where they can receive food, shelter and emotional support. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, challenged the nation like never before and the Red Cross met that challenge through the generosity of its donors, and the unwavering commitment of its volunteers and staff.
